Smoking is a killer habit, quite literally, and the one that for a lot of is incredibly hard to shake. Lately, vaping has arisen as a possible option to smoking, the one that in some ways and for some people may be a healthier option. As more men begin vaping, it raises questions about if it may have any penis health effects – specifically, could vaping have an adverse impact on a man’s ability to acquire or maintain that all-important erect penis?
Vaping could be the act of using so-called e-smokes rather than the tobacco-based normal cigarette. Instead of tobacco, e-smokes include a liquid that is composed of various chemicals and metals, including nicotine, which really is a stimulant present in tobacco and that will be one of the major reasons that cigarettes may be addictive. The liquid is place in (or comes in) a cartridge, that will be inserted to the e-smokes. A temperature source causes the liquid to turn into an aerosol (mistakenly called a vapor, hence the name vaping), that will be breathed to the lungs and then exhaled.
Because vaping eliminates the smoke that comes from tobacco, e-smokes may be less harmful for some people who’d otherwise smoke tobacco cigarettes. However, recently, there were concerns that the chemicals found in vaping may also be hazardous to one’s health. DO CBD VAPE OILS HAVE ANY THC? The present thought is that promoting e-smokes as a wholesome option to smoking might not be justified.
What about penis health?
So vaping mightn’t be the boon to general health it had been once thought to be. What about where penis health is concerned? Does a man need certainly to worry about any possible effect vaping may have on his erect penis?
There’s credible evidence that yes, vaping could contribute to factors that will impact one’s capability to attain or maintain an erect penis. Among reasons why this might be is that e-smokes tend to add various “flavorings” added to make the vaping experience nicer and enjoyable (in much the same way as menthol cigarettes were introduced for anyone for whom straight tobacco flavors could have been too harsh).
Unfortunately, the chemicals used to create the flavorings have been shown to cause harm to endothelial cells. For men, this is a problem because endothelial cells play a role in blood vessel health, growth, and maintenance, and in creating nitric oxide. In turn, nitric oxide is vital for enabling blood vessels to widen so that more blood can flow through them when required – as, for instance, whenever a man has an erection and requires a rapid flow of blood to reach the penis, fill its spongy tissue, and make a company erect penis.
An erect penis is very important to more than simply enabling sexual activity. Erections bring oxygen to the penis, which supports keep consitently the penile tissue healthy. Fewer or weaker erections generally mean that, with time, a few of the tissue will atrophy, causing some shrinkage of the penis – a predicament most men wish to avoid.
It should be noted that smoking tobacco cigarettes can also be connected with impeding nitric oxide production and the resulting erect penis (and penis shrinkage) issues.
